My name is Jeroen van Vulpen, and I am an audio engineer, musician, composer, producer, and sound designer based in Basel. I run my own sound studio in the Klybeck quarter of Kleinbasel, where I specialize in producing, recording, and mixing music across a diverse range of genres, including pop, electronic music, and contemporary experimental soundscapes.
My passion for music began at a young age when I started playing the piano. Over time, I became increasingly fascinated by analog synthesizers, which led me to explore sound design and composition.
In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Audiodesign from the Hochschule Musik Basel FHNW, where I developed a strong foundation in the technical and creative aspects of audio production, sound design, and music technology.
In the summer of 2022, I completed my Master of Arts in Electroacoustic Composition at the prestigious Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where I further honed my technical skills and expanded my knowledge in the realm of sound composition and production.
Beyond my work as a solo artist and producer, I am also actively involved in several other musical projects. I am a member of the pop-synth band Phoam, where I contribute as a keyboardist and producer. Additionally, I perform with other diverse musical acts, such as Sam Himself, a project that blends indie rock with an atmospheric sound, and AMOA, a band that merges electronic and organic elements in its unique approach to pop music.
I am deeply committed to my artistic growth and constantly seek new ways to explore and evolve my sound. I am always open to collaboration with fellow musicians, artists, and producers. If you feel inspired by my work or are interested in working together, I would love to hear from you.
